Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty Alternate title screen:

Extreme difficulty setting:
Complete the game to unlock the extreme difficulty setting
Increase grip strength:
Press L2 + R2 one hundred times when hanging on a ledge to do pull-ups.
Control intermission sequences:
Press the Right Analog-stick to move the view or R1 to zoom in during an intermission sequence.
Control Codec sequences:
Press the Left Analog-stick or Right Analog-stick to move the faces. Press R3 or L3 to zoom in. When using your codec to contact Otacon or others in the game, press R1 or R2 to reveal Snake's opinion about those persons, with some funny phrases.
Quick skip Codec calls:
Press X button to stop the talking, then hold Square until the Codec conversation is done. This is useful when advancing past long, boring intermissions, or intermissions that you have already viewed.
See your name in the ending:
When you enter the plant, Campbell will tell you to look for a computer in order to use the radar. When you find it, Raiden will use it and a name entry screen will appear. Enter your own name, sex, birthday, blood type, and nationality. After that, continue and complete the game. During the ending sequence Snake will ask Raiden what is on his neck. Raiden will take it off, revealing a dog tag with your name on it.
No reinforcements:
If you have been discovered, equip a small weapon and shoot their codec so no reinforcements can be called.
Enemies run away:
If you have been discovered, try taking out your biggest gun. At times, your enemies may get scared and run.
Kiss the girl:
In the room with the lockers, the locker in the upper left corner of the room has a poster with a girl in a bikini on the inside of the door. Hide in the locker, so that you are inside the locker with the door shut. Press R1 to zoom in on the poster and Snake will make kissing sounds. Have Snake crouch if you want to kiss the lower half of the poster. Kiss by holding R1 down.
