Easy coins:
When you are in the Thwomp Volcano, there is a part where you are supposed to get 30 gems in order to pass. When you finish it, go out then go in again. Step on the Thwomp and say "Yes" that you want to play. Get any number of gems, and if you do not get 50 gems you will get 20 coins. Repeat this to get as many coins as desired. Note: The game is free.
Dodge attacks:
During a battle press Attack for Mario or Luigi to dodge enemy attacks.
Even Easier coin collecting
Go into Thwomp Volcano and there is a place with a cannon and a hole for the babies to enter. When you enter the hole, cross underneath the Thwomp and he will ask if you want to play the slots. The first time will be free, but then he will want 100 coins per try afterwards. When he asks that question, choose Help and Play. This lets you play for free, but only when you choose Help and Play.

Infinite shine time in the dark areas
When the babies enter the dark zones where the adults have to hit a shine block every now and then to light the babies' path, press Start just as the lights begin to dim after using a shine. When you unpause, the room will be dim but will not get darker, allowing you to see for as long as you like without having to stop to hit the shine block.

Beat Princess Shroob
Make sure you have a lot of mix flowers because it is very afected if you know how to use it. And there is another boss afther her who is her elder sister. After you kill her once you will have to kill her again. Then the last boss is Bowser you won't be able to attack.You will have to dodge his attacks.

Slow babies:
When going down a large amount of stairs, jump, and have the babies jump off at the peak of your jump. Do this while still moving. The game should slow down when the babies are coming down. If done correctly it should take awhile for them to come down. Note: This can only be done when climbing to the observatory in Princess Peach's Castle (past or present), or in the Past Castle when you are climbing up the staircases in the area shaped like Princess Shroob.
Hidden shape:
Battle six Twacks or Wonder Twacks to see a Star Of David shape. The shape can also be seen if you look closely in the middle.
Gathering beans:
After you learn Baby Mario and Luigi's ability to dig underground, each time you see an small circle with a "X" in it, throw Baby Mario and Baby Luigi by pressing X or Y. Next, press R then B and B again to go underground. Move underneath the circle with the "X" in it, then press B under it and you will receive a bean.
More effective Bros. Flowers or Ice Flowers:
When using Bros. Flower or Ice Flower, it is a good idea to have the sound at a good level so you can hear when the fireball or iceball switches to the other character . Although pressing both Bros. at once is an easier way to ensure you are always throwing with the character with the big fireball or iceball, doing this shortens the time you have to attack. If you only attack with the person with the fireball or iceball as perfectly as you can. you will gain more time, allowing more damage and possibly use it
Easier way to fire things:
Use the following trick if it is difficult to predict who will have the big fireball when you use the Flower Bros. item. Press all the buttons at once, and both of them will fire at the enemy.
Defeating Sunnycide:
There are five eggs in front of Sunnycide. Ignore Sunnycide and go for the eggs. Attack an egg until it hatches. A Yoshi will come out and start pushing a boulder on a ledge high above. Hatch five eggs while avoiding Sunnycide's attacks, and the Yoshis will launch the boulder at Sunnycide and knock him down. He is now vulnerable. Attack him with everything you have while avoiding his attacks until he stands back up. Repeat this process until he has been defeated.
Defeating Bowser and Baby Bowser:
Having lots of Ice Flowers is recommended. Once Baby Bowser uses his adult form as some sort of hockey item, use your hammer to smash it back to him, because he will continue to heal his adult form. If you succeed, Baby Bowser will miss hitting the adult form and he will be on his own for a small amount of time. Also get Red Peppers to increase your attack, and perhaps Blue Peppers to increase your speed. Give the Red Peppers to the adult Mario and Luigi and keep using Ice Flowers. An alternative is the Green Shell or the Pocket Chomp. If used correctly, there should be a signal that his defense has lowered. Continue using Ice Flowers (or if you are out, a Pocket Chomp or Cannon). You might not defeat him the first time. When he gets back in his adult form, continue damaging him, then use the hammers again and continue the process. Once Baby Bowser is defeated, just repeat the same process with adult Bowser.
Defeating Commander Shroob:
When the battle begins, you will be facing three Shroobs holding a large Shroob-like Bomb-omb. Attack and destroy the middle and rear Shroobs so that the front Shroob is crushed by the bomb because he cannot hold up the weight himself. The bomb will roll backwards, blowing up Commander Shroob, allowing you to attack him. The most effective attacks on him are the Ice Flower (to lower his stats, and do critical damage), Copy Flower, and Red Shell, provided you have good timing. His attack is mostly slapping Shroobs towards you;.defend with your hammers. He has a lot of HP, and the battle will last awhile because after a few turns he will summon more Shroobs with the bomb again. Repeat the first strategy to reveal Commander Shroob again, then repeat the second strategy until he is defeated. High Pow and a lot of patience is recommended.
